The effect of glucose in aging (By CNP SKIN LASER CLINIC YANGJAE, Dr. Park, Dr. Kwon, Dr. Kim)

Aging is conducted by exogenous factors according to external to environmental stimuli and endogenous factors that appear naturally. The reaction is cellular oxidation, glycation and degradation of collagen synthesis.
Oxidation of cell is resulting changes of the collagen and elastin in the skin, which will connect with the aging. If it contact for a long time sugar with protein in the body, sugar becomes a glycosylated protein through stick to the protein. It is induce or exacerbate chronic disease while the loss of the function of protein, protein which is the key in cell and tissue function will be changed into harmful substances because the sugar. Glycosylation of the protein is not able to function normally through affected in the tissue. And the thickened blood vessels to lose its elasticity, aging will be promoted
and the disease through increase the damaged cells.
The altered protein occur cramps phenomenon through attached to the muscles, also had an impact to the collagen and is loss elasticity and promote aging. In addition, the free radical is oxidation of the glycated proteins, it is to suffer chronic fatigue syndrome.
The biggest cause of glycated protein is high blood glucose, it is intake of carbohydrates excessively.

It is not easy to control the sugar intake because can ingest sugar in various places such as rice, fruit, side dishes, drinks, coffee and so on.

Glycation phenomenon is made that an inflammatory reaction more sensitive so acne can be cause easily, it is a good to limit on the high sugar content foods for acne skin.

But, vitamin C acts as an inhibit glycosylation, vitamin D is reduce inflammation.
It is excellent antioxidant effect such as beta-carotene in green vegetables, polyphenol in the green tea, lycopene in tomatoes.

In addition, vitamin C & vitamin E will help the recycling of other antioxidants and to prevent neuronal cell damaged.
